Restaurant Review: Parker’s, Dubai
Ideal for… when you’re craving good sliders
Restaurant name and location: Parker’s, Dubai Mall
Cuisine: Think pretzel chicken, lotus and sliders
Atmosphere: Super popular amongst locals, it was packed on a weekday afternoon – I can’t even imagine what a weekend would look like.
What they say: A culinary obsession to celebrate timeless spaces inspired by neighborhood parks. It is a concept that revolves around Mr. Parker, the keeper of the park, who’s been hiding keys around the city for an access to Parker’s. He’s an old man with a modern twist bringing food from around the world and creating an experience that brings flavorful food to a social setting. Parker’s menu is experimental, you would find chocolate and coffee in a burger and that’s completely normal to Parker. Many dishes will remind you of the past, leaving you with a nostalgic feeling of your childhood.
What to order:
Pretzel chicken strips (one of my personal favorites, very interesting starter)
Balsamic quinoa (a light starter)
White truffle pasta
Choco coffee sliders (those were just incredible, a very subtle taste of chocolate and coffee to create a smoky flavor)
Truffle fries
-Lotus drama (this lotus dessert was out of this world, and definitely a must try!)
Service: Cool and sweet staff. Sanchit, the manager was incredibly sweet and our waiter, Ken was super helpful – even though it’s a self service restaurant.
What I loved:
-Everyone looking so cool, and the waitresses in denim overalls.
-The music – Drake, DJ Khaled and some great rnb tracks.
Bill for two: AED400
